Water security is growing to be the biggest challenge in urban and rural areas. As our experience shows, this situation is true both in areas prone to drought and floods. It is increasingly evident that water security can be achieved through the promotion of sustainable, indigenous, scientific methods of water harvesting. Engaging with communities and/or the Government to build capacities and/or promote effective planning and management of water resources is another key component in the success of any such initiative.
